Note: Though the office is in Texas, this individual can be based anywhere in the USA. Will be the odd business trip through the USA. 

Our client is a fast-growing Fintech that has developed an award-winning API plug-in data product that saves businesses time and money on their auditing. By using this product, a business gets an instant snapshot of its accounting position via a data upload; say goodbye to costly auditors and manual errors!

The firm, led by Oliver Wyman's ex Co-Head of Banking, has signed all the Big 4 Audit businesses and a host of smaller players in the market. One of the big pluses for this role is working with a small team of exceptional entrepreneurs. A second big plus is the growth trajectory for this person; the CEO hopes they will lead the US practice within 3 years and build a team behind them. Thirdly, the firm offers a fantastic work-life balance; the CEO is an ex strategy consultant and banker. The role offers full flexibility and does not require consulting or banking hours.

This is an opportunity for someone to take a lead Account Manager role in the US market. We are looking for a natural relationship builder; nurturing long-term relationships with senior stakeholders in global businesses.

This individual will take a lead role with one of the Big 4 firms and build out the relationship. They will also take on 10-20 smaller accounts, setting up a smooth process to manage and grow relationships. 


We are looking for:

1. Experience as an account manager, building and nurturing relationships ideally in global businesses

2. A people person and networker

3. Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently 

4. A passion for technology and solutions would be preferred

5. Background in accounting/audit would be an advantage 

6. Experience in a Fintech / Software Sales business would be an advantage 

Base salary range from 80-110,000 plus 20% bonus.

The successful candidate will lead data-driven recommendations and insights to support strategic projects across Central Operations. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience working with data in a business setting, including data management, process execution, operations, reporting, or analytics.  Data & Business Intelligence Associate Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $47-$65 (Pay varies based on candidate's location and experience)
  • Worksite: Leading professional development and networking (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States)

  • 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment

 Data & Business Intelligence Associate Responsibilities:

  • Lead data-driven recommendations and insights to support strategic projects across Central Operations.
  • Understand the business, track operational performance, and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Support company-wide programs through ownership of analytical projects.
  • Establish strong working relationships with peers in other Global Operations teams and cross-functional partners (sales leadership, finance, sales operations, systems) to achieve objectives.
  • Build dashboards and automated reports, working proficiently with data visualization and querying/analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Python).
  • Own data tables, and work with stakeholders to ensure available data is accurate, consistent, and timely.
  • Own technical implementations and documentation associated with datasets and strive for 100% accuracy.
  • Possibility to learn & implement advanced analytics tools for optimization (e.g., Cloud hosting, Job automation, Artificial Intelligence techniques, Natural Language generation).

Data & Business Intelligence Associate Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience working with data in a business setting, including data management, process execution, operations, reporting, or analytics.
  • A BS degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in communicating effectively and presenting to Senior Executives is preferred.
  • Experience with manipulating massive-scale structured and unstructured data is preferred.
  • Experience creating and maintaining business-critical data warehouse tables using SQL is preferred.
  • Experience with distributed data systems such as Hadoop and related technologies (Spark, Presto, Pig, Hive, etc.) is preferred.
  • Ability to leverage numbers and insights to influence & drive sound decision making is preferred.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders is preferred.
  • Background in at least one programming language (e.g., R, Python, Java, Scala, PHP, JavaScript) is preferred.
  • Data analytics, collaboration, and communication skills.
